5 September 2022
HR and payroll services provider SD Worx has appointed Bruce Fecheyr-Lippens as Chief People Officer. Bruce is a member of the Executive Committee and reports to CEO Kobe Verdonck.
"It is an honor to take on this position. The vision of management is inspiring and I believe very strongly in the growth story of SD Worx. We are a strong European HR player that continues to grow while remaining very close to our customers. Our total range of services and solutions enables us to provide HR, talent and payroll solutions to companies and their employees throughout Europe. Together with the team, I want to think about further innovation within HR. At SD Worx employees are given the opportunity to develop themselves and show entrepreneurship. I want to build on that. Guiding people to get the full potential out of themselves, as individuals but also as a team, that is my drive. An environment in which everyone can be themselves and focus on their own strengths is motivating and leads to engaged employees. And we need those to support the steep growth of SD Worx and offer our customers the best service."
Bruce began his career at McKinsey, where he held various positions for eight years with expertise in HR, human transition, coaching, team effectiveness and leadership. In early 2017, he started at Solvay. Within the HR management team, he worked on projects around digital HR, people analytics and agile working. In late 2019, he became chief talent officer and senior HR Partner at Euroclear. In the meantime, together with a few partners Bruce founded huapii, a company that offers solutions around talent management and of which SD Worx became a majority shareholder at the end of March this year. The current huapii management team will continue to support the international growth of the company. During his career Bruce worked from Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the Nordics, the United Kingdom and the United States. This international experience will certainly come in handy in his new position.
Bruce will replace Cathy Geerts who leaves the company at the end of September.
“I sincerely want to thank Cathy and I wish her every success in her future career”, says Kobe Verdonck, CEO at SD Worx. “In the three years Cathy has led our HR department, she and her team made great steps forward. She was a true ambassador for SD Worx and I am convinced that she will continue to have a big heart for our beautiful company. I trust Bruce will support our growth strategy and business, together with the HR team and all colleagues at SD Worx and I wish him every success in this endeavour.”
